My interests

I can safely say I have a wide range of interests, however the biggest passion in my life currently lies within taking pictures and creating videos. I have been taking pictures for as long as I can remember, as well as making videos for the past 15+ years. When it comes to videos, it is the past 3-4 years the interest has spiraled (out of control?) with the introduction and availability of full HD-format in digital SLR-cameras. †Needless to say, I'm also carrying a burning interest in learning languages, studying cultures, and trying each day to be as creative as I possibly can be.

I am who I am.

I can speak, read and write Thai relatively well, but I still come across new words every day. No worries, even Thai people do that. I used to be very conversant in Tagalog (Filippino) as well, but by not practicing the language so much every day, I'm feeling that I’m starting to loose a lot of what I used to know.†

My favorite place in the whole world is in Thailand, and through all the decades I spent living - and working - there, I had the pleasure of visiting every one of it's provinces. Many of the best moments of my life, all happened in Thailand, a country I still consider as “the home in my heart". In particular, year 1999, when Phuket was my home, was probably also for me the happiest year I have had in my life.†

Everything I am.†

I love surfing the Internet, reading about and studying design and architecture, and I spend many hours working with Adobe Photoshop CC (which, by the way, is an amazing tool). As you can see from these pages, there also seems to be a hidden passion within me in writing. Funny thing about writing: it’s always so much more fun when I’m able to reach people and get feedback on pieces and entries I have done.†

Take a picture, it'll last longer!

During the autumn of 2012, and first half of 2013, I also completed a total of 78 lectures in Hindi. It was an absolutely amazing experience, and a whole lot of fun learning, but whether I can put it to some proper use in the future, is left to see.†
