I’m not doing well. Not well at all. This week, I’m already a day late for my weekly throwback Thursday, by no others fault than my own. All I can do is to try do better next week.
Anyway, the image picked this week dates back to July 1987 when I went on a life-defining cruise through the Caribbean on board the SS Norway. This cruise would be the founding basis of my dream for the rest of my life. Little did I know that just a few years later, I would be back on board the SS Norway in the capacity as a crew member.
I still remember the smells, the thrill and excitement of this cruise. I still remember the humidity, the food on board and some of the people I met during one week in Caribbean. During my life, few other experience comes close to the feeling at fulfilment of this cruise.
SS Norway will forever be a major part of my life, and a part of my life which I will greatly miss every detail of.
