Dear fellow users of CaptainsVoyage Forum,
Despite forums now being like a dinosaur out of it’s time, and while everything mostly happens on Facebook, CaptainsVoyage Forum is still alive and running. We are not too many active members any longer, but perhaps an eclectic group of loveable people who treasure and maintain a professional and friendly conversation about so many different things that interest us.
The hope is that we remain active and keep our forum alive: despite advances in technology and boat-oads of various facebook-groups.
Once a year, we have a bill coming, and it’s always about mid-year when it arrives, when people are out on holiday-trips. It’s the one thing I feel really shy reminding everybody about: requesting donations to keep our running costs in check. As usual, we are not asking for a boat load of donations, but perhaps a small trickle from each one of us active members. That will be sufficient to keep us alive.
At the same time, I would also like to extend a most heartfelt “THANK YOU” to our co-Administrator for the time and effort he has put in to ensure we have the latest version installed, and safe back up’s. Please also take time to reflect on the valuable job PoloUK has done for us! HIP HIP HIP HURRAYYY!
