First of all, I would like to take this opportunity to extend a most personal and warm welcome to all: I would also like to convey my most sincere thank you for taking some time to visit these pages and I certainly hope you will find something of interest.

Please note that these pages and the attached forum was primarily made as a tribute to one of the greatest ships in the world and a ship that has meant so much to me in my life, and which very much has made me into who I am today - the ocean liner SS France, or as more recently known, the cruise liner SS Norway.

As you may quickly realize from all these pages, the ocean has played a significant part of my life but despite this obvious passion for our oceans, I have also dedicated much of this website and the attached forum to cover many of my other different interests. Based on that, I hope being able to bring together people from all over the world and give them a hours of interesting reading and learning.

On behalf of all members of CaptainsVoyage.com and the attached CaptainsVoyage Forum, we would like to invite new members from all over the world to join together, become a valued member and start sharing knowledge and wisdom across borders.

I am a fairly new website and forum builder, but have learnt a whole lot step by step, often the hard way. Even though there is still a way to go to learn it all,  I hope these pages and forum will be of interest.
